Luxury Yoga Holiday Sardinia May 2017

Testimonials:

The Kula Retreat in Sardinia was my first yoga retreat ever so I didn’t really know what to expect. If I had any expectations, they have certainly been exceeded. The Kula team took great care of us and made sure we had an amazing time. Kula chose a beautiful location, the classes were really helpful to improve our practice and the group was great fun! The trip was well organised and the hotel we stayed at made sure we felt comfortable. I was surprised to see that after only one week of regular training I have become more flexible which is encouraging me to keep up the practice. Special thanks to Michelle, Gerry and Baris for this great holiday! I look forward to the next retreat.😊

I don’t think you can be thanked enough for organising such an amazing weekend away, when I first saw the notice in the studio I thought that looks like something I want to go along to but quite truly I did not expect to have such an amazing time as I did, thank you!

I really enjoyed running away to the sea with BYCJ and want to thank you and all the team for all the effort and work that went into organising such a wonderful event.

The whole weekend was brilliant but of course there were highlights, I think topping the list was meditating in a yurk with the rain pouring outside, that really was an experience!! When the rain was pouring outside and we were sat inside with the gorgeous lights and heat, it made relaxing so easy and because we were such a small lovely group it made been yourself and having great debates and chats very easy!

But then there was also the delicious food including the demonstrations and chats with Jess and getting messy with chia pudding and raw cacao. The yoga workshop was so useful and I really have taken some great tips away but it was nice to understand more about the postures, I even think my breathing might have improved! Baris’s workshop were just such good fun, he has such a passion and enthusiasm that is just infectious and makes everyone want to get involved but he breaks down something so difficult to something so simple to do or not with the handstands

More highlights including chanting as Baris played his drum and watching a great film whilst eating delicious popcorn.

The location was just perfect, Florence House is just gorgeous and in a fabulous setting with the hills on one side and the sea on the other. The house itself is very pretty and the rooms so comfortable but it was a real treat practicing yoga in the gorgeous big room just as the sun came up.

I think the great thing about this retreat was that it was so relaxed with the focus not just been one thing. The four pillars were excellent as each one complimented each other.

The only thing and it really is only a little suggestion would be that I really enjoyed the practical workshops where you got involved and learned something new that perhaps the next time we could do some more practical sessions. But definitely keep the ‘me time’ as that was such a real treat.

I really hope you run this or a similar event again because if I am free I will be the first in line to sign up.

Thank you so much Gerry but also to Maitreya, Baris, Jess and the wonderful team at Florence House.
